MY BOWEN STORY

I found this modality by chance. I was scrambling after hurricane Florence to get my CE's for license renewal and found this class in Wilmington. I was super stressed, high anxiety and was having a really difficult time adjusting to life after the storm. Michelle Lally, the founder of Bowsage Therapy, quickly got us on the tables so we could just experience Bowen. As she moved from table to table I remember by her second round of moves on me I felt a wave just wash over me. I went from super anxious to barely able to stay awake. Later while listening to lecture I turned my head and neck popped... I've had neck issues since the 90's and it locks up. This work loosened me up enough to actually self adjust! I was so amazed at the effectiveness and the simplicity of it, I memorized the treatment that night and was helping the other students the next day! I went on to learn the advanced training and assist with teaching other classes because this work is truly amazing. I have since even blended using Bowen with Restorative Yoga, held Bowen community clinics and also offer as a stand alone treatment! I can't wait to share this work with more therapists!
